If I snap the slider shut on my Go Plus lid after taking a sip, a little bit of coffee splashes. How do I keep that from happening?
A very small amount of coffee can pool on or around the lid after the user takes a sip. If you snap the slider closed very quickly, that little bit of coffee may splash. You can avoid the splashing by closing the slider slowly and gently.
The slider on my Go Plus lid won't open far enough. What’s wrong?
A very small number of Go Pluses had their magnetic slider installed upside down. However, there's an easy fix. As the slider is held on with a magnet, simply remove the slider, turn it the other way, and pop it back on. See here for an image showing how the slider should be oriented.
Will my AeroPress Original, Clear, Premium or Steel fit inside the Go Plus tumbler?
No, they will not fit. In order to ensure two critical functional design aspects for the Go Plus, it was not possible to fit an AeroPress Original or Clear in the Go Plus tumbler. First, in order for the Go Plus to be cup holder compatible, it needed to have a narrower plunger top. Anything wider would have rendered it incompatible with most cup holders. Second, in order to ensure that the Go Plus packs up securely inside the tumbler, the bottom of the chamber had to be designed with two customizations that enable it to snap securely into place.
What are the dimensions?
Plunger with Seal: 5.26" tall, 3.28" diameter; Chamber: 4.75" tall, 4.22" diameter (at widest part of the hexagon); Compressed Plunger + Chamber: 5.26" tall (height of the Plunger), 4.22" diameter (diameter of Chamber)
Where is AeroPress Go Plus manufactured?
AeroPress Go Plus is assembled in the United States from USA and China components. The brewer, filters, scoop and stirrer are manufactured in the USA and the Tumbler is manufactured in China. AeroPress was founded by inventor Alan Adler, who created the very first prototype in his garage in Palo Alto, California. While a significant portion of our product line continues to be manufactured in the United States, some products are manufactured overseas driven by consideration of materials, assembly, cost and order quantity thresholds. All AeroPress products continue to be conceived and designed in the USA.
