My filter cap gets hot after brewing. What do I do?

You can let it sit for just a few moments, run the filter cap under cool water before removing it from the chamber or you can use a cloth to remove it.

The paper filter sticks to the filter cap. How do I remove it?

Gently brush the end of the stirrer across the paper filter in the cap. This makes the paper curl up for easy removal.

Where is it manufactured?

It is manufactured in China. AeroPress was founded by inventor Alan Adler, who created the very first prototype in his garage in Palo Alto, California. While a significant portion of our product line continues to be manufactured in the United States, some products are manufactured overseas driven by consideration of materials, assembly, cost and order quantity thresholds. All AeroPress products continue to be conceived and designed in the USA.
